Beauty Review: Althea Brow Wow Eyebrow Pencil

This is the first time I review a eyebrow pencil. Seriously in my thought, I wouldn't review an eyebrow pencil because the mere function of eyebrow pencil is just to give shape to our eyebrow and that's it!

This time, however, I would really like to share my experience of using Althea Brow Wow Eyebrow Pencil, because the experience of using it has been quite convenient.

Why am I loving Althea Brow Wow Eyebrow Pencil?

1. It is super easy to use

2. It has dual ends

I would just combine the 2 points to elaborate together. The reason it is so easy and convenient to use is because it has dual ends. It is a pencil that has everything that you need to shape your eyebrows!

After you draw and shape your eyebrow with the tapered triangular pencil, you can easy open another cap on the other end, to comb your eyebrow hair. It was so easy, so convenient, that you can done your eyebrow in just ..less than a min.

Oh yea, even you are just a new user to learn how to shape your eyebrows. You can always try and experiment with different eyebrow shapes because literally, it only take less than a min to draw an eyebrow!

3.It is affordable yet providing a promosing outcome

It costs only RM 11 at such great quality! Later when I browse through the Althea Purchasing Site,  then only I found out other additional good features of Althea Brow Wow Eyebrow Pencil.

Information taken from Althea Purchasing site

You can choose your desire colour out of the 3 different shades of brown. Each giving different tone. I bought all the 3 together during the Althea Promotion.  The reason I bought 3 not only because it is cheap, but also because I can use the suitable shades as I change my hair colour.

I am using the 01 Grey Brown currently. It has a bit of grey tone that gives a natural eyebrow shade/pigmentation without overdoing it.

This is how the colours look like one my yellow-toned skin.

In the count of less than 60 second, mine is 30 seconds probably. Your eyebrows are done with precision!

Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating Range

We all know that Hada Labo is famour for its signature ingredient which is Hyaluronic Acid. This time, Hada Labo has brought in the new series specially catering for people with sensitive skin!

What does sensitive skin refers to?
Do you experience redness on your skin out of nowhere?

In a consumer test using the Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating Cream on sensitive skin with skin redness, a significant reduction in redness and irritation is seen within 4 hours of application. The result demonstrates the efficacy of the cream in soothing redness and strengthening the skin’s barrier.

Which mean, when you go travelling into a new environment, your skin might not able to adjust to the sudden change of humidity. You suddenly develop dry skin, itchy skin. So you can apply the cream on the affected area. Not only on the face only. That's what I normally do as I want to make sure my luggage is at it's LIGHTEST!

The Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating range consists of
1. Face Wash
I tested it for a week. The result isn't obvious probably because my skin is in its optimal condition. However, I found out that my skin complexion has become fairer when washing face with the face wash.

2. Lotion
If you use Hada Labo for quite sometime, you will definitely know that the star product for Hada Labo is their lotion.

In terms of the texture, the main different between Hydrating Lotion and Sensitive Hydrating Lotion is the additional of ingredients such as Shea Butter,  Lecithin, Squalene, Ceramide and etc. that give the appearance of white gooey texture instead of the normal transparent gooey texture.

The white, gooey texture of the Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating Lotion

3. Milk
I would use either milk or cream after applying lotion because it would be too much nutrients on my face, LOL.

4. Cream
The reason that Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating Cream can reduce the redness on sensitive skin is because it contains Alpha Bisabolol and Gingerol to calm the skin as well as soothe irritation.

Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hyrating Range is formulated with multiple protective soothing formula to strengthen and restore balance in our skin. It has triple protection!

·        Protects
Contains Lecithin, Squalene and Shea Butter that forms invisible bionic liquid crystal as a protective film to protect the skin against environmental pollutant and stressors in keeping the skin healthy

·        Strengthens and Repairs
Contains Phytosterols and Ceramide that help to smooth, soften as well as strengthen and repair skin barrier

·        Soothe Redness
Contains Alpha Bisabolol and Gingerol to calm as well as soothe irritation and redness on the skin

All the Hada Labo products, the Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating range contains the signature ingredient which is Hyaluronic Acid that penetrates deep into skin to intensely hydrate and restore the skin’s moisture.

That's not all, all the Hada Labo products are also
pH balanced
No fragrance
No colorant
No alcohol
No mineral oil

So  you are welcomed to use them if your skin cannot tolerate to alcohol, mineral oil, colourant! It is gentle and working effectively.

And you can buy them at Watson stores nationwide and online too!

Other Hada Labo products that I like

Left | Hada Labo Lotion
Right | Hada Labo Face Wash

I also have been using their AHA+ BHA Face Wash which I madly in love. The AHA (gylcolic acid) and BHA (salicylic acid) help to soften skin, remove dead skin cells and improve the skin absorption. I don't use the exfoliating face wash every day, but I would use it whenever I feel like my skin has too much dead skin and need to be cleasend properly. Sometimes, I would use it after I remove my make up too.

Okinii Ramenba @SS4 Petaling Jaya

I am a huge ramen lover. I dont eat all the ramen in Klang Valley area, but I will whenever I have the chance. I've been follow their instagram for quite some time. Okinii Ramen is quite active in posting. So it always cross my mind that I need to try the ramen here!

Okinii is a place famous for Coffee X Ramen. The Ramen is Chicken broth based ramen.

So let's explore the Okinii. !

The outlook of the shop isn't very noticable. The signage doesn't have much contrast with the background wall colour. S0 we actually overlooked the shop and drove pass to the end of the shop lot. Until we saw V-Pac, then only we realised that there is where Okinii located.

The ramen eatery is located at the first floor. Entrance at the side of the shop.

You will be greeted by this little mao~~ little cat before the entrance at the first floor.

Their choice of beverage are unique too! Okinii also highlight their coffee. I ordered their Hojicha Latte. It was creamy, resemble the taste of full cream milk, then the Hojicha blend in harmonily with the milk. It was so good you can come here for the coffee alone.

Because a cup of Hojicha Latte with quite condensed you will feel very full and satisfied.

UPnext, you get to choose ramen from 6 different flavours of broth. We ordered Kuro (Black Garlic) and Shoyu (Soy sauce)

As you can see here. Choose from 4 different type of toppings too! Choices of

Roasted Chicken Chasu | Rm 25

Seasonal Seafood | Rm 28

Mixed Vegetables | Rm 15  (Vegetarian)

Australia Beef  | Rm 26

I was a bit hyped looking at the menu. As a ramen lover, I do really love Pork broth so much. I want something that is as near as the authentic, classic, original ramen. However, I know I will get boring eating the same ramen every time.

Hence, when I look at the menu, I know this is the fusion of modern food with ramen. and I really appreciate Okinii ramen for making variety in ramen. Improvise it to suit the local tastebud and making it available for vegetarian!

Any other food other than ramen?

Yes, they do have Gyoza, colorful Gyoza that is so attractive to look at!

Aside from some light food. They also serve Rice (in Don's style)

Their ramen is so spriny and fresh! Upon finish eating, then only I knew I can add on their ramen to upsize it.

We both chose Chicken Chasu as the topping, but opt for different broth base.

Kuro (Black Garlic)

Kuro means 'Black' in Japanese. It had the taste of slightly burnt garlic. I did every slurp of it. Until I compare it with Shoyu 😆😆😆,  then my husband and me concluded that we both love Shoyu more! Its taste suit our tastebud more.

Nevertheless, I would recommend you to try Kuro as you get to expand your range of gastronomy experience. and you know how it taste like. It is as delicious as much as the Shoyu. It's just like our preference goes to Shoyu.

I feel like you are here not only to savour the great food. Your eyes would be fed by this interesting chopsticks holder too! They keep the interior as minimalist as possible, making it a calm, zen and chilling to enjoy your food.

At some point , It would let you feel that you would like to order Sake, just like how some Japanese working adult would go to eatery to satisfied their tummy and to have drinks with friends after a tiring and chilling working day.

Shoyu (Soy sauce)

TOpped with 4 slices of chicken roll, seaweed, and shredded wood ear mushroom.

A simple yet complete set of dining experience.

Do remember that if you would like to come here

Operation hours  | 9.30am - 6.00pm

I was once want to go after my working hour, and estimated to reach around 7pm, only to be told that they only operated until 6pm. After dining after 6pm would be to reserve in advanced.
